Respected/ Importers of poultry meat and cattle and their products
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (SG / 863) dated 10/4/1440, which states that the Council received the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (27640 / B) dated (9/4/1440), which included the visit of a technical team of the Authority to the Republic of Brazil to control imports of beef, poultry and its products.
The visit included inspecting and auditing the export facilities of poultry meat, beef and their products, feed factories and poultry farms during the period 21/1/1440 (1-30 / 10/2018).
The decision of the SFDA is to remove the following food establishments (SIF424, SIF1001, SIF4232, SIF2485, SIF3300, SIF3482, SIF1372) of the list of approved export installations for poultry meat and meat products from the Republic of Brazil.
In addition, SFDA imposed a temporary suspension of importation of poultry meat and poultry products from the Brazilian facility "SEARA ALIMINTOS LTDA" with accreditation number (SIF2227) until it corrects the notes.
